How it works

Our solar collectors are connected to the existing hot water cylinder using a unique valve.

The opertaion is very simple

• Evacuated tubes convert UV rays into usable heat
• Heat pipes transfer heat rapidly to header pipe
• Water is pumped through the header pipe, absorbing heat
• Heated water returns to the storage tank

Due to the round shape, Suntech+ evacuated tubes passively track the sun throughout the day. This is very different to flat plate panels ehich only face the sun fully a midday in summer months.

By tracking the sun from early morning to late afternoon, our evacuated tubes provide more heat for longer each day, which means more hot water!
